What is happening in Small Cities?

Be a Nagar Nagar Fellow

Nagar-Nagar Fellowship is an initiative of Nagrika to equip youth of India's smaller cities to engage positively and productively with their cities and citizens. It is designed to empower youth and collaboratively work with them on Nagrika's vision of creating easy-to-comprehend and easy-to-access knowledge about smaller cities in India which can lead to transformative conversations and actions in these cities.

The fellowship is highly suited for current college students, gap-year students, UPSC aspirants, early career researchers who are looking to build a deeper understanding of their city through research, policy and (re)presentation of cities in India. This programme is not restricted to students and practitioners of Urban Studies, Architecture or similar disciplines.

If you're passionate about towns and small cities, are eager to understand the complex layers that shape them, then this program could be your gateway to learning and rethinking how we engage with the everyday details of city life. This comprehensive exploration will help you build a nuanced understanding of your city and frame it accordingly for your future goals.
